Introducing My Meal
I recently enjoyed a delicious dinner at a nearby Mediterranean restaurant by the name of Lebani House, and there menu featured a wide range of tastes and ingredients. Th meal consisted of warm pita bread, hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabbouleh. The smokey baba ghanoush, which was made with roasted eggplant, garlic, and tahini, went very well with the creamy hummus, which I believe had chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice.
My main dish was a grilled chicken shawarma with roasted veggies on the side and rice laced with saffron. The chicken's flavor was enhanced by marinating it in a mixture of spices, such as paprika, coriander, and cumin. The roasted carrots, bell peppers, and zucchini gave a lovely compliment to the rice and shawarma.
Lastly, I had to indulge in a nice flaky dessert, know as Baklava. Baklava is a sweet pastry layered with nuts and honey, and absolutely irresistible. This was my first time going to this restaurant and let me be the first to say, not only did they satisfy my hunger, but they also delivered exceptional customer throughout the whole meal. I have found much appreciation towards Mediterranean food from Lebani House.
